NVIDIA introduces an AI Blueprint aimed at automating telco network configuration, promising enhanced efficiency and performance through AI-driven automation, showcased at GTC Paris.
NVIDIA has launched a groundbreaking AI Blueprint designed to automate and enhance telecom network configurations. Unveiled at GTC Paris, this innovation aims to streamline operations and boost efficiency for telecom companies worldwide, according to NVIDIA.
Automate Network Configuration With the AI Blueprint
The AI Blueprint leverages large language models (LLMs) tailored to telco network data, transforming them into autonomous AI agents capable of making intelligent, real-time decisions. This transition from manual, rules-based systems to dynamic AI-driven automation promises significant cost reductions and improved service quality.
Available on NVIDIA’s platform, the AI Blueprint offers customizable AI workflow examples. These include reference code and deployment tools to guide developers in optimizing network configurations. By embedding learning and adaptability, the blueprint enhances operational efficiency and service quality.
Powered and Deployed by Industry Leaders
The AI Blueprint, trained on 5G data from BubbleRAN and deployed on BubbleRAN’s 5G O-RAN platform, provides insights for achieving performance goals like optimal bitrate and signal-to-noise ratios. Telenor Group, with over 200 million customers, is the first to integrate this blueprint, aiming to meet the demands of 5G networks.
Knut Fjellheim, Telenor Maritime’s Chief Technology Innovation Officer, highlighted the blueprint’s role in improving service quality during network installations, part of Telenor’s broader network automation strategy.
Industry Partners Deploy Other NVIDIA-Powered Technologies
Beyond the AI Blueprint, NVIDIA’s GTC Paris event showcased various industry applications of agentic AI. NTT DATA, Tata Consultancy Services, Prodapt, Accenture, and Infosys have all adopted NVIDIA’s AI technologies to enhance telecom operations.
These collaborations focus on automating network management tasks, improving operational efficiencies, and reducing costs. Solutions range from anomaly detection and resolution to autonomous network management and billing processes, significantly increasing business agility.
With NVIDIA’s AI innovations, telecom companies are set to accelerate the shift toward fully autonomous networks, enhancing customer experiences and operational performance across the industry.
